As part of the Enedia Whiteboard Richard Mataska from Enedia presented at the ACPET breakfast seminar held at the Metripole Hotel in Fitzroy.
ACPET is the Australian Council for Private Education and Training. On the 7th April 2006 ACPET hosted a breakfast seminar to provide members with information and advice on technology tools to improve their businesses. Robin Gardner, Higher Education Registrar from the Australian Institute of Public Safety and Nick Stanley, Managing Director of NPS Consulting Group and PEPi Systems described key aspects of efficient student management systems. Richard Mataska, from Enedia presented on Web marketing. The theme of the session was - "Don't be daunted by new technologies" - these new tools can help your business run more smoothly and save you money! Efficient student management systems and simple web marketing know-how enables you to quickly access current information on students, staff, courses and assessments to meet compliance and strategic business requirements. The morning was a great success and Richard provided valuable insights to attendees on tools, techniques and strategies for getting the most value from web marketing technologies. Over the last decade Richard has focused on corporate training in the aviation sector and for the last two years, Richard has been the General Manager of Enedia, a consultancy specialising in website marketing / online business development. Robin Gardner Robin has been at the Australian Institute of Public Safety, an ACPET member, for eight years, five as Higher Education Registrar. Prior to that Robin worked at the University of Melbourne for 10 years. Robin has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland and a Graduate Diploma in Information Management from RMIT. Robin's role is to oversee the operations of the Higher Education Division, including overall responsibility for quality assurance, prospective and current students, the library and teaching staff. Part of this role involves reporting to regulatory bodies such as DEST. Nic Stanley Nick Stanley is the Managing Director of NPS Consulting Group and PEPi Systems, creators of the PEPi Student Management System and has more than ten years experience in the further and higher education sectors in Australia, creating and deploying enterprise scale solutions to help manage students and stakeholders right throughout the learner lifecycle.
